I am thinking of radically changing the content of my site.
Among the great gifts in my life is the constant introduction to new people and their art/ideas/inventions/products/inspirations/foods, etc.
So my idea is that my site become a “My favourite things” kind of site, including people that inspire me, food that delights me, scents that send me and everyday hits of goodness.
Maybe that’s it- EVERYDAY HITS OF GOODNESS

It is early morning and Olive is having a nap in her favourite spot- in her stroller outside the bathroom door with the fan whirring away. She has been waking earlier these days and while I have never loved to rise early, the last few days of playing in our big bed with her have been some of the most precious. Undoubtedly, she is at her happiest and most vocal in the early mornings- does this mean she’ll be a stock broker?
On these mornings, as the sun begins its tiptoe through the dark sky, I can barely make out Olive’s form- I can only hear and smell her sweet breath and feel her little fingers on my chin and in my hair. Her sounds begin- not tentative, but clear and delighted. I am convinced that 530 in the morning has to be among the most auspicious times of the day. I want my own personal papparazzo to secretly document these mornings. Just Olive and me, greeting the day together. Would it be weird to install surveillance cameras in our home for just that purpose?
I am so grateful to my little Olive. I am so grateful for her father. She seems so content to be here, in this world. She is a warm stew for my vata belly. She is the great reminder.
Every day is auspicious.

I am so excited to be teaching a weekend workshop in Whistler, starting Friday, July 24th – Sunday, July 26th !! My whole family is coming along and we are going to give Olive her first Whistler experience. Woo-hoo !
